Mobile Phone Internet Connectivity Reinvented

Örjan Johansson, Chairman of the Board, Conveneer

Date: Tuesday, March 3

Time: 10:00 - 10:15 AM

Location: Salon E

Today mobile phones hide behind firewalls and NAT´s and connectivity between computers, applications and phones, or phones and phones is very restricted. Conveneer has a disruptive technology that enables all phones, independent of brand and OS, appear as servers on the Internet exposed with a restful API simply by using a normal URL as address. Reach a phone and all content simply by http://demo.mikz.me. Try it!

This means that any client such as for example browsers, media players, or applications such as for example Facebook and MySpace can access any content, any time but only provided that the phone owner accepts to share.

To develop a WEB-application or service is today rather fast but if this application or service needs to read or write data from phones the WEB developer has to develop a specific client for each phone brand and OS. This latter part of the project is often an order of magnitude bigger than the WEB application. Now this latter part is already solved by Conveneer.

During the session we will demo and show application examples but also give a brief overview of the technology.
